Bend's Organic spa
Bend’s Organic Spa, Anjou Spa Rises, Announcing New Permanent Location!

In September 2016, Bend’s organic spa, Anjou Spa’s downtown facility was tragically taken in a fire where thankfully, no-one was hurt. We reopened temporarily at Aspen House on Bend’s west side and plan to be there through July with limited services. In late April 2017, several forensic fire investigative teams determined that the official cause of the fire was inconclusive ~ no cause was determined.

During this transitional time, our very own Spa Owner, Jenna Walden, was nominated for 2017 Woman of the Year via the Bend Chamber of Commerce. Not to our surprise, Jenna was recognized for her effort in making Anjou what it is, was, and will become in this next rendition.

Bend's Organic Spa

Westside, Here We Come!

But where should Anjou go, permanently? It was not possible to wait until our original location rebuilt, so a new location was needed. After a lot of touring and pondering, we decided to relocate to the commercial center at the bottom of College Way and Shevlin Park Drive. Anjou will sit between the confluence of Awbrey Butte, Shevlin Park, NW Crossing and Westside neighborhoods and become Bend’s neighborhood spa, we can’t wait!

Lemonade, Not Lemons

Today, we are busily rebuilding the business from scratch! Not only will our facility be gorgeous, we aim to re-create and tailor spa experiences with all the feedback we’ve received over the years. So what can you expect? In summary:

  • Facial, waxing, massage and nail services in a beautiful facility
  • Enlarged lobby with more seating and retail
  • Nail room with a brow bar, manicure tables and our zero-gravity pedicure chairs
  • Beautiful couple’s room
  • Korean hot sand sauna (one-of-a-kind!)
  • Steam room

Bend’s Organic Spa Slated for re-opening late Summer 2017

You can expect a refined spa menu with new techniques addressing our sports-minded community, more diverse Spa Membership offerings, new facials, beautiful products, elevated amenities including a Korean sand room sauna, and the absence of what was our hair salon to maintain focus on our spa treatments. Aesthetically, we’re mixing vintage and modern with green materials to guide our dream spa vision. The owner, Jenna Walden, a talented designer and builder in her own right, will provide all the interior design and will tap into Bend’s excellent artisan community for decorating.

Soon, you’ll be among warm towels, soft hands, delicate oils and gentle sounds of Spa music in our new facility. To say the least, we are excited!

Look for our sign at the bottom of College Way! Our new address will be Anjou Spa, 1835 NW Pence Lane. We will be keeping everyone up-to-date in our Photo Journal here on our blog, Anjou Rises!
