Caring for your health and wellbeing…
Every day there are new headlines and updates about the coronavirus. While there are no reported cases in Central Oregon as of today, We wanted to take a moment to let you know the proactive steps our staff has taken to minimize the risk to our customers.
What We Are Doing
In the interest of maintaining a safe environment for our members, staff, and community at large, Anjou Spa’s check-in process will include symptom screening and require hand sanitation. We are disinfecting surfaces, tools, and equipment with hospital-grade cleaners after each use and on a daily basis. We are also undertaking additional steps to combat the spread of the virus, such as offering hand sanitizer stations around the Spa, and an increased cleaning schedule several times per day.
We are strictly enforcing our sick policy, and advise that all staff who feel unwell stay home. clients will be asked to sign an affirmation that they are not feeling sick and are not putting others at risk. This may result in cancellations or shuffling of appointments. We recognize this is an inconvenience. Please know that Anjou Spa values your health and the health of our staff.
WE UNDERSTAND SOME SYMPTOMS MAY BE ALLERGY-RELATED. We now have new Health Agreement Forms for our guests to fill out upon checking in at Anjou Spa where you have an opportunity to relay any allergy-related symptoms you may be exhibiting so that our staff is aware.
We are closely monitoring the updates around the coronavirus including when testing will become available to the greater community, in the meantime we urge our customers to take the following precautions:
1) If you feel unwell (e.g., coughing, short of breath, or have a fever), self-quarantine and wait until you have been symptom-free (without medication) for at least 14-days before rescheduling your appointment. If you become exposed to the virus, here’s how to self-quarantine.
2) Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, alcohol-based hand sanitizer or sanitizing wipes will work as well.
3) Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, and make sure to COUGH OR SNEEZE INTO A BENT ELBOW (NOT YOUR HANDS)
4) Avoid contact with people who are sick or exhibiting symptoms.
Last, but certainly not least, if you have TRAVELED to any of the affected countries outlined by the CDC at CDC travel, including but not limited to; China, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Italy, Iran, Taiwan and Vietnam, please follow the CDC’s most up-to-date and recommended guidelines including requesting a test. note that the list of affected countries is ever-changing and may expand.
