Before and After Results:

Dermal Peel Offerings

Important! Discontinue retinol & tretinoin products 7-10 days prior to appointment.

No-Peel Peel

40 mins, $995 series of four (recommended for best results — see FAQ)

The No-Peel Peel is the most innovative peel on the market today and has ZERO to minimal skin shedding associated with professional-grade peels. This proprietary peel repairs sun-damaged, dull and dry skin from the inside out, using growth factors to regenerate healthy cells and peptides to stimulate collagen production and repair and strengthen the extracellular matrix below the surface. These peptides break down dead skin cells; eliminating peeling and downtime.

Your skin retains more moisture, looks plumper, firmer and more radiant as the new layers emerge. The treatment also fades dark spots, reduces fine lines, and strengthens the skin barrier. Recommended as a (4) series, one week apart. Includes initial take-home kit (cleanser, post-Tx serum, growth-factor serum, silk serum, moisturizing cream and growth factor masque). Choose this for a gentler process that doesn’t interfere with your plans!

should i stop using retinol products before a peel?

Yes! Discontinue use of retinol products at least 7-10 days before your appointment. Vitamin A products can create additional dryness and peeling.

Can I do a peel with active acne?

A Dermal Peel (Spotless) is a great solution for active acne. It is specifically formulated for acne. The treatment’s goal is to exfoliate and target the acne-causing bacteria while reducing inflammation and clearing pores.

Those with cystic acne, pustules, or skin conditions that could react poorly to certain ingredients could get more irritated with a No-Peel Peel. Those with mild breakouts and/or want to avoid PIH would be a good candidate.

Anjou offers High-Frequency and LED light therapy to combine with peels, as well.

Which Peel is Best for Treating Acne Scars?

Both peels are suitable for scar appearance reduction: suitability depends on type of scar and your skin’s tolerance.

Dermal Peel (Polite, Hero, Spotless)

Best for: Moderate to severe acne scars

The Dermal Peel offers more intensive exfoliation, effectively resurfacing the skin to reduce the appearance of depressed or uneven scars.

  • It promotes collagen stimulation through deeper penetration, which helps fill in atrophic scars (e.g., rolling or boxcar scars).
  • Best suited for clients who can tolerate mild downtime, as it often involves visible peeling. Ideal for clients seeking faster results in scar reduction.
  • Frequency and Results: Typically requires a series of 4–6 treatments spaced 2–4 weeks apart.

No-Peel Peel

Best for: Mild to moderate scars or sensitive skin

  • Targets scars by stimulating cell turnover and collagen production in the dermis without visible peeling. This is gentler but still effective for improving the texture of scars over time.
  • Works well for individuals prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), as it minimizes irritation and inflammation, which can worsen acne scars.
  • Frequency and Results: A series of 4–6 treatments, spaced 2 weeks apart, provides cumulative benefits.
  • Best for clients with sensitive skin, those seeking a gradual improvement, or has concerns about downtime.
is there discomfort during the application?

The procedure is painless, but clients may experience a mild tingling or warm sensation during application of the peel solution. Calming solutions are applied in both peel services which we use in combination with cooling devices that quickly bring the skin’s temperature down.

Anti-inflammatory peptides, rich antioxidants, vitamins (B3 + B5), botanical extracts and hyaluronic acid ingredients in the No-peel peel calming solution soothe the skin, promote skin healing and reduces irritation.

Dermal peel calming solution has a special multi-weight hyaluronic acid of four different sizes that deliver hydration at every layer of the skin, soothing, plumping and accelerating recovery while peptides rebuild and strengthen the skin’s matrix for long-lasting rejuvenation.

Who is a good candidate for Peels?

Ideal candidates typically have concerns such as:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven skin tone or hyperpigmentation
  • Acne scars or active breakouts
  • Enlarged pores
  • Dull or rough skin texture
  • Sun damage or age spots

However, the best candidates are those who are in good general health and do not have any of the following contraindications:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Recent excessive sun exposure
  • Active infections, open wounds, or cold sores in the treatment area
  • Recent use of certain medications (e.g., isotretinoin or retinoids)
  • History of keloid scarring or poor wound healing

It’s essential to have a consultation with your provider to assess your skin’s needs and determine the most suitable treatment for your specific concerns.

Explaining the No-Peel Peel

A No-Peel Peel is a revolutionary skin treatment designed to deeply rejuvenate the skin without the visible peeling effect associated with traditional chemical peels. While traditional peels often work on the surface layers, the No-Peel Peel penetrates deep into the dermis, promoting cell turnover and collagen production. After four consecutive treatments, the 30-day cell turnover cycle is complete, and the newly revealed cells are even more enhanced, leaving you with radiant skin.

This makes it highly effective in improving skin texture, tone, and radiance, all without the downtime or peeling.

Immediately after one treatment, you will experience a “glow” and tighter, firmer skin. Over the next weeks, your skin will continue to improve in texture, tone, elasticity, and coloration. Expect to reduce brown spots, see fewer wrinkles and fine lines, and thicken your skin after treatment. It can also be used to reduce scarring and stretch marks all over the body.

No-peel peels can be combined with other treatments to enhance their efficacy and long-term results. Please consult with your provider to learn more.

How long do results from peels last?

Effects can last several months. Regular treatments can extend these benefits. A dermal peel, especially in the climate of Central Oregon, is recommended every one to two months for maintenance.

How many no-peel peel treatments do i need to see results?

You will see instant, visible results in the brightness, tightness, and texture of your skin after just one treatment. However, a series of four weekly treatments is needed because repeated applications deliver cumulative benefits that maximize skin transformation.

However, you should discuss with a professional your goals so you can both create a personalized plan for multiple treatments to address specific concerns, such as brown spots, saggy skin, or wrinkles in certain locations.

No-Peel Peel: A series of four is recommended because repeated applications deliver cumulative benefits that maximize skin transformation.

Layered Skin Improvement:

  • Each treatment penetrates deeply to exfoliate and rejuvenate up to six layers of the dermis. Over time, this repeated stimulation enhances skin renewal for smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking skin.

Cumulative Collagen Stimulation:

  • The treatments progressively boost collagen and elastin production, improving firmness, reducing fine lines, and enhancing elasticity.

Improved Skin Tone and Texture:

  • Address concerns like uneven pigmentation, rough texture, and enlarged pores with noticeable improvements after each session, culminating in significant refinement by the fourth treatment.

Long-Lasting Results:

  • A series ensures deeper, longer-lasting results as the effects are cumulative during the 30-day cycle of cell turnover, making it a cost-effective investment in sustained skin health and beauty.

Enhanced Hydration and Barrier Strength:

  • The peel promotes optimal hydration while fortifying the skin’s barrier, leaving it resilient and glowing.
How many dermal peel treatments and how often?

A dermal peel can be applied every two weeks until the desired outcome, then we recommend every 1-3 months for maintenance. You will see instant, visible results in the brightness, tightness, and texture of your skin after just one treatment. However, you should discuss with a professional your goals so you can both create a personalized plan for multiple treatments to address specific concerns and have a full skin evaluation.

Dermal Peel (Polite, Hero, Spotless): Typically 3–6 treatments, depending on the severity of the skin condition (e.g., melasma, fine lines, acne scars). Treatments are usually spaced 2–4 weeks apart to allow the skin to recover between sessions. A Dermal Peel includes a take-home mask with growth factors and a sealant.

Immediate and Long-Term Benefits:

  • Peels provide immediate improvement in skin texture and radiance due to their exfoliating action, while promoting long-term benefits like collagen stimulation and cellular renewal.
  • With regular use, they can dramatically reduce the appearance of acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, and rough patches.

Multi-Layer Exfoliation for Deeper Impact:

  • These peels can penetrate multiple layers of the epidermis, allowing for more immediate improvements.

  • Address concerns like uneven pigmentation, rough texture, and enlarged pores with noticeable improvements after each session, culminating in significant refinement by the fourth treatment.

Reduced Pigmentation:

  • Lightening of dark spots, melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation for a brighter, more uniform skin tone.

Fine Line and Wrinkle Reduction:

  • Stimulation of collagen and elastin production helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.

Clarity for Acne-Prone Skin:

  • Reduction in active breakouts and clogged pores, with fewer blemishes over time.
what ingredients are important to have in your skincare after a peel?

After a peel, your skin is in a state of renewal and requires specific ingredients to maximize healing, hydration, and anti-aging benefits. Follow the post-treatment care instructions given to you by your service provider. For maintenance and upkeep, it’s important to have a high-quality skincare on hand to amplify the peel’s results, such as Anjou Aesthetics Skincare.

Here’s why these four building blocks—peptides, growth factors, Vitamin A/Retinol, and Vitamin C—are essential post-peel:

  1. Peptides: They signal the skin to repair and regenerate. Peptides promote collagen production and are simultaneously anti-inflammatory, calming irritated skin.
  2. Growth Factors: They stimulate cell regeneration and repair damaged tissue, enhancing the skin’s ability to heal.
  3. Retinol/Retinoids: Vitamin A helps boost cell turnover and collagen production, enhancing the results of your peel.
  4. Vitamin C: This is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals while brightening complexion; improving the peel’s anti-aging benefits.
How about a peel for the neck?

Addressing crepiness of the neck with peels is a great way to reduce the effects of noticable aging. Crepiness of the neck often results from thinning skin and reduced collagen brought on by aging and loss of hormones. The formulations in both peel options are great for stimulating collagen production.

The No-peel Peel formulation includes humectants and ingredients that restore hydration which help plump fine lines and crepey texture.

Peels also improve skin texture and tone, and encourage cell turnover.

For best results, consult with your service provider combining Microneedling and Peels for a comprehensive Collagen Induction Therapy plan.

can it help my hands?

Absolutely! Just as with the neck, the hands show signs of aging such as thinning skin, loss of elasticity, and hyperpigmentation. Because the skin on the hands is thinner, a No-Peel Peel are ideal to avoid irritation.

Hands are less tolerant of aggressive treatments than the face. A once-monthly treatment is usually sufficient to achieve results without causing excessive dryness or peeling.

Talk to your service provider about combining Microneedling with a peel to get the best effect.

can the peel solutions be nano-needled?

Both peel offerings can be nano-needled for deeper penetration and amplification of benefits. Please consult with your provider to add on this enhancement.

Nano-needling is a device with fast-moving, tiny tips that create micro-channels within the epidermis for active ingredient penetration. It is painless, suitable for sensitive skin and requires no downtime while improving texture, hydration, and tone.

What other modalities can i combine a peel solution with?

Peels can be combined with enzyme masks, dermaplaning, microcurrent, microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion (Aqua Facial), LED and nano-needling.

Consult with your service provider to come up with the best treatment plan for your skin goals.

Will a peel help with melasma?

Both dermal peels can help manage melasma, though they work differently and have specific strengths. Maintenance at home should include high-quality skincare (like Anjou Aesthetics) that carry anti-inflammatory peptides and growth-factors and seals in hydration for our dry climate. If you’re not sure, please book a consultation and we’re happy to sort out the best approach for your skin and concerns.

Dermal Peel:

  • Best for individuals seeking a more immediate exfoliation to disrupt pigment deposits in the upper layers of the skin.
  • Targets pigmentation with tailored peels (Spotless).
  • Delivers noticeable improvements in a shorter timeframe but may require careful aftercare to avoid post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
  • A multi-layer approach allows for gradual lightening without overly stressing the skin.

No-Peel Peel:

  • Best for those looking for gentle but effective long-term brightening and repair.
  • Penetrates up to six layers deep in the dermis, targeting melasma at its root. It works more gradually, prioritizing gentle cell turnover and pigment repair.
  • By focusing on collagen production, hydration, and cellular repair, this peel improves melasma over a series of treatments without immediate exfoliation or downtime.
  • Especially suitable for individuals prone to irritation or PIH, which can sometimes worsen melasma.

Which is Better for Melasma?

Mild to moderate melasma: The No-Peel peel may be ideal because it minimizes the risk of irritation or PIH, which are common triggers for melasma flare-ups.

Severe melasma: A Dermal Peel could be more effective, especially if combined with a pigment-inhibiting skincare routine.

Maintenance: Pair peels with daily sunscreen, antioxidants, and pigment inhibitors to sustain results and prevent melasma from recurring.

Can It help with eczema?

Applying a peel on skin effected by eczema requires caution, as it is more sensitive and prone to irritation. However, our No-Peel Peel’s gentle and innovative formula can benefit individuals with eczema by improving skin texture, reducing dryness, and hyperpigmentation caused by inflammation.

  1. A No-Peel Peel uses mild ingredients to gently exfolate which removes dead skin cells and flakiness without disrupting the sensitive barrier of eczema-prone skin.
  2. Formulation includes aloe vera, green tea exctract and niamcinamide, which calms inflammation.
  3. It’s formulated to be non-irritating and anti-inflammatory.

Talk to your service provider about eligibility.

Are these peels safe for rosacea?

Both peel offerings can be used on skin with rosacea since their formulations focus on being anti-inflammatory. Rosacea is often linked to a compromised skin barrier. No-Peel Peels with ceramides and hydrating agents can help repair and protect the barrier, reducing flare-ups. Talk to your service provider if you have rosacea.
