Anjou Spa has an amazing new pressotherapy treatment to make your body feel great
Introducing pressotherapy
Discover the latest addition to Anjou Spa: Pressotherapy. This full-body compression therapy treatment harnesses controlled pressure to stimulate circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and detoxify.
Why did we bring pressotherapy on?
Feeling good both inside and out is the name of the game. In a town like Bend where doctor visits and recreational aches and pains are a frequent part of our lives, we want to offer therapeutic services that fill the gap between medical and pampering. An example of this gap is post-surgery. Do doctors tell how to get your injured appendage looking good again (we’ll be announcing something on this topic soon), or how to find relief from swelling and stiffness (other than physical therapy)? No!
How it works
Pressotherapy’s compression garment is put on while lying down. You spend 30-mins while pressure gently and rhythmically is applied; this stimulates blood flow, helps remove toxins and metabolic waste, and reduces fluid retention. Results include:
- Reduction in swelling and stiffness of limbs
- Detoxification throughout the entire body
- Relief of heavy-feeling legs
- Toning + smoothing of cellulite
- Promotion of healthy circulation
- Diminished inflammation of limbs
- Prevention of varicose vein formation
- Leaves you feeling massaged and relaxed
Recommendation: While one-session can bring relief, multiple sessions are recommended when chronic pain, stiffness and a lot of fluid is built-up. Pressotherapy can be done 2-4 times per week.
And yes, you can pair this with red light therapy! Last month we introduced the Vacuum Vitality Massage and now with Pressotherapy and our Ah Shi Detox Massage, Anjou Spa’s detoxifying services are bar none in town.
Wondering if Pressotherapy is right for you? Here are some of the people who can benefit from this cutting-edge treatment:
Athletes and Recreational Warriors:
Compression therapy is widely-known to help with muscle recovery and fatigue by draining metabolic wastes more efficiently and moving blood faster through your circulatory system. Rock climbers, since we offer the full-body and not just legs, this will help with tired arms!
Individuals with circulatory Issues:
Pressotherapy is particularly beneficial for individuals with circulatory concerns. Whether you experience edema (fluid retention), varicose veins, or heavy legs, pressotherapy’s gentle pressure helps improve circulation. By stimulating blood flow, it alleviates discomfort, reduces swelling, and promotes overall vascular health, providing much-needed relief and improved well-being.
Those seeking detoxification:
In our modern world filled with environmental pollutants and lifestyle stressors, the body’s detoxification systems can become overwhelmed. Pressotherapy offers a solution for individuals looking to support their body’s natural detoxification processes. By promoting lymphatic drainage and aiding in the removal of toxins and metabolic waste, pressotherapy helps purify the body, leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized.
Smoothing of cellulite:
Cellulite can be a frustrating concern for many individuals, regardless of body type or fitness level. Pressotherapy presents an effective solution to target cellulite. By enhancing blood and lymphatic flow, this therapy helps break down cellulite deposits, leading to a reduction in its appearance. If you’re looking to achieve smoother, more toned skin, Pressotherapy can be a game-changer.
Those seeking relaxation and stress relief:
In our fast-paced lives, finding moments of relaxation and stress relief is essential for overall well-being. Pressotherapy offers more than just physical benefits; it provides a sanctuary of relaxation and tranquility. As the gentle pressure works its magic, tension melts away, leaving you in a state of profound calmness. If you crave a reprieve from everyday stressors, pressotherapy can provide the rejuvenating escape you need.
People in post-surgical and post-procedure recovery:
Individuals recovering from surgeries or medical procedures can also benefit greatly from Pressotherapy. By reducing swelling, inflammation, and bruising, Pressotherapy aids in the healing process, supporting faster recovery and improved well-being. Whether you’ve undergone cosmetic surgery or a medical procedure, Pressotherapy can help accelerate your recovery journey.
Spa enthusiasts:
For those who frequent spas and seek new and effective therapies, Pressotherapy is a must-try. It offers a unique and invigorating experience, taking relaxation and rejuvenation to new heights. Spa enthusiasts looking to enhance their spa rituals and explore cutting-edge treatments will find Pressotherapy to be an exciting addition to their wellness journey.
